  • The system allows the customization of each point that is comprised in the organization's network.

  • Each call point is assigned individually or by group to one or more wireless phones, pagers units, email addresses.

  • The system monitors and displays, on a computer screen, all presence registrations, as well as active and non-active call points.

  • The system allows the integration of bitmap floor plans in order to graphically represent the physical location of the different activities.

  • The system allows all activities to be carried out from a touch screen.

  • The system allows the assignment and re-assignment of call points, wireless phones or pagers in a visual and easy drag and drop manner for the user easy to perform.

  • The system allows the visual programming of forwarding responsibilities to insure that no event goes unanswered.

  • The system allows a minimum of three response levels (primary, secondary, back up) and they is programmable to allow escalation to a higher or lower priority level within a predetermined time period.

  • The system uses a reminder type function to place a call that has been answered on a callback list so it is not forgotten. The call is automatically be placed again if it has not been cancelled from the point of origin, if so desired, after a predetermined time.

  • The priority level is programmable when a call is placed from any call point and the system shall display the information concerning the nature and location of the call, the call priority level, as well as additional information. All this information is forwarded to the cordless devices that have this function available.

  • The system is equipped with different access levels in order to prevent unwanted access to parts or all of the programming.

  • The system shall allow the representation of all call points and assignments on a single computer screen.

  • The system shall allow predetermined assignment schedules, such as transfer or change, through a single operation.

  • The system shall allow a graphical representation of the complete facility, campus, building, floor, wing, rooms, and every call point within the facility.

  • Each call is timed and the predetermined answer time is represented by means of coloured indicators (red, yellow, green) according to the elapsed time since the call has been placed.

  • A watchdog function is integrated into each module to monitor for system failure.

  • The system allows for a large on-screen virtual keyboard use for manual paging.

  • The system allows the broadcasting of pre-programmed or manual messages to one user, a group of users, or to every user.

  • The system allows the ability to simulate call points in order to preprogram events.

  • The system is used within a WIN95/98/2000/XP/NT environment.

  • The system is able to connect a local LAN/WAN network supporting TCP/IP.

  • The system has no limitation in terms of the level of priority.

  • The system's programming enables each call point to have its own level of priority.

  • The system is able to automatically repair a corrupted database without user intervention.

  • The system allows free form text messaging from any web browser interface.

  • The system allows audible notification on active alarms.

  • The system allows for the creation of virtual status or event triggered and cancelled through any PC's or two-way wireless devices.
