David Tavares is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of GlobeStar Systems.
After immigrating to Canada from Portugal in 1966, David began
his career with Bell Canada and quickly went on to develop a number of successful business enterprises. David's passion for telecommunications resurfaced when he learned of the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission's decision to open competition within the telecom space. As a result, David founded Tel-e Connect Systems Ltd. in 1982. A decade later, after realizing the global market's untapped opportunities in integrating the vast array of communications technologies, David founded GlobeStar Systems.
A true entrepreneur and motivator in every sense, David has long earned a reputation as a visionary in the telecommunications field. In 2005, David was honoured as a Canadian New Pioneer Award recipient for his contributions to the Canadian business community.
With David's tireless drive, determination and leadership, GlobeStar has become an internationally recognized organization and forerunner in providing superior integration technology, full-featured communications solutions and the utmost quality of customer support.

Mary DiGioia is President and Chief Financial Officer of GlobeStar Systems bringing 20 years of telecommunications experience to the organization.
Upon joining Tel-e Connect in 1986, Mary was instrumental in the company's dramatic growth across Canada. At GlobeStar, Mary has full management responsibility for the company, overseeing its ongoing business and distribution operations. Under her leadership, GlobeStar has significantly broadened its product portfolio by fostering strategic partnerships with some of the world's most renowned telecommunications equipment suppliers.

Jason Wilson is Vice President of Technology and Research responsible for maintaining GlobeStar Systems' technical lead in world-class information delivery solutions.
Jason joined Tel-e Connect in 1987 and was instrumental in developing GlobeStar's cornerstone product,
ConnexALL®. Jason's vast communications technologies experience makes him uniquely qualified to shape the direction of the product's future applications platform as well as the company's overall research endeavors.

Peter van den Berg is the Vice President of Sales
responsible for global sales activities and client
relationships.
He brings more than 25 years
of in-depth sales knowledge to GlobeStar Systems, having held senior
positions at Bell Canada and Nortel Networks
developing solutions with strategic partners in the
Healthcare industry. Peter has extensive
experience Operations, Product Management, Systems
Integration, Sales and Marketing.
He was guest speaker
at the International Nortel Meridian Users Group (INMUG),
Health Care Expo, Ontario Nursing Association (OHA)
Canadian Healthcare Engineering Society (CHES) and
COACH. He's also published articles in
"Advance for Health Information Executives"
and " Canadian Computing".
Ana Bailão
Director, Strategic Business Development

Ana
Bailao is the Director of Strategic Business
Development responsible for partner relationships
and public affairs.
Ana has worked in the private sector and government
for the past 10 years having extensive expertise in
government relations, business development and
communications. Ana has held positions at the
Embassy of Canada in Portugal, City of Toronto and
bcpbank Canada, where she was part of the leadership
team that oversaw the successful conversion of eight
branches including 120 employees and 28,000
customers to BMO Bank of Montreal. Prior to joining
GlobeStar Systems, Ana was accountable for the
development of a marketing and communications
strategy for BMO Bank of Montreal that targeted
various local and cultural markets across Canada.
In recognition of her community work, Ana was
awarded the National Order of Portugal (Ordem do
Infante D. Henrique) on June 10, 2006 by the
President of Portugal. She is currently the
Vice-President of the European Union Chamber of
Commerce in Toronto, Trustee of the Federation of
Portuguese Canadian Business and Professionals and
Honorary Board Member of the Working Women Community
Centre.
